特别喜欢电影里的一段，是在麦克斯和托马斯一起爬到屋顶，“感受生命的冷暖、荣耀以及它所散发出来的力量”的时候，麦克斯说的：

“你所做的一切并非一点用处都没有，汤姆。我想石器时代的时候，我们的祖先每到夜晚，都会围在火堆旁边。狼在黑夜里嚎叫，好像随时会从周围的草丛里蹦出来。这时候就会有一个人开始讲话，他会讲一个故事，这样大家就不会害怕了。”

“You are not frivolous, Tom. I think back in the caveman days, our ancestors would huddle around the fire at night and wolves woulb be howling in the dark, just beyond the light. And one person would start talking. And he would tell a story, so we wouldn't be so scared in the dark.”

大概这就是文学的力量，是可以实体化，可以驱走妖鬼兽魔的。
